High-risk Pregnancy Support

Parents Reaching Out offers Peer Counseling to families experiencing complications during pregnancy and delivery.

 

The goal of High-risk Pregnancy Peer Counseling is to provide emotional support services to women at risk of preterm delivery and their families so that these families cope better with restrictions that can lead to healthier outcomes for their babies.

NICU Support

Parents Reaching Out offers Peer Counseling to families facing the challenges of having a premature baby or critically ill newborn in neonatal intensive care (NICU).

 

The goal of NICU Peer Counseling is to provide emotional support services to parents and other caregivers of infants in NICU so that these families cope better with the critical care environment and become better caregivers and their children receive more intensive and cost effective health care.

PCCU Support

Parents Reaching Out offers Peer Counseling to families facing the challenges of having an infant or child in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) at Monroe Carell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Nashville, Tennessee.

 

The goal of PCCU Peer Counseling is to provide emotional support services to parents and other caregivers of children in PCCU so that these families cope better with the critical care environment and become better caregivers and their children receive more intensive and cost effective health care.
